The Offshore General Skilled Migration Program recommences on 1 July with applicants again able to file valid applications after this date. We will however have to wait and see how the State and Territory Governments respond to the new Skilled Occupation List and as to which occupations they decide to sponsor under the Regional Skilled permanent and temporary programs. Most skills accreditations obtained prior to the suspension, relating to occupations still on the SOL are valid and applications can be made using those accreditations. We will advise further once the State and Territory governments have had an opportunity to recommence sponsorship application processing and we can see the occupations sponsored.
