Helping out in Grantham

E-mail Print PDF

As we all know there has been recent devastation throughout Queensland as a result of the floods and recent cyclones.  We can all do a little to help those where have lost a lot, and together maybe we can help them get their lives back in order.  Here at Hunt Migration and Hunt Lawyers we applaud the effort of our Brisbane practice manager, Catherine Fitch for her recent, and ongoing assistance, to those families affected in the Grantham area.  Catherine mobilised anyone she could find to supply well needed goods and assistance, she even donated a horse.  Below is a selection of photos from Catherine's recent efforts.  If you can assist in anyway please contact Catherine on 07 3129 1881.

Pictured is Sophie the horse.  Sophie was kindly donated by Catherine Fitch (centre left) to the Godley family (Katherine, Garry and Linda on the right) who lost their own horses in the recent floods.  Kind thanks to Hayley and Ed (left) who transported the horse to Grantham at no charge.

Many donations of furniture were received and delivered to those looking to rebuild in Goodna.  Here is Marty Salvo from our Brisbane office delivering furniture.  Good work Marty!

Gift baskets were prepared and delivered to those in need.  Here is Catherine and Marty with their team of Gold Coast volunteers who helped deliver the baskets.
