Process and Costs

Hunt Migration has a very specific process in bringing on new franchisees to ensure the best outcome for all parties involved is achieved.

It is very important that you recognize the need for openness and honesty in the selection process. Often businesses are judged by their worst component and this brings down the whole network, for this reason we take time and make sure to we get right people.

We focus heavily of your knowledge and passion for Australia, knowledge of the world and its people, and we ensure there is no prejudice which may interfere with your professional practice.

It is very important to us that you understand our business and recognise the work involved with building up a new franchise. Franchising is not a license to make money. Franchises are business like all others and require consistent work to make them successful.

Before signing on a new franchisee, we have a number of meetings to relay business information and to give you an opportunity to air any questions or concerns you may have.

After you have attended an initial interview, completed the franchise application & confidentiality agreement, & enclosed a fully refundable $1000 deposit, we will organise a second meeting for you.

From here, we introduce you to the Hunt Migration business in detail, outlining all aspects of the company. At this stage, we will look at the financial models of a Hunt Migration office including a sample franchise document, the Franchising Code of Conduct and a Disclosure Statement. For strategic reasons, we will also identify and discuss the Hunt Migration franchise area that you are considering. We will also discuss your ability to support a new business professionally and financially on information supplied in your franchise application.

You will need to review all the documents supplied and obtain independent advice, this is also a good time to speak with existing franchisees and franchise manager and we encourage you to do this prior to your next meeting.

Once finalised and approved, the final documents are drawn up, and once signed, your training will commence prior to your franchise opening.

In the interest of sustainability, it is essential to have adequate working capital to allow the business to become established and to start generating income. The nature of the migration industry is that you may not get paid for a visa application for four to eight weeks after being briefed. Thus, keep in mind that you may not have any income for the first couple of months.

A vital expense is the initial marketing in the local area. This will ensure the benefits of dealing with your business are known by potential clients in your franchise area. Hunt Migration will develop a strategic launch campaign and you will require marketing funds to kick start the business.
